The second South Asian youth summit on climate change is scheduled from October 27th-30th in the city of Colombo, Sri Lanka. The summit is focusing on adaptation and capacity building across South Asian countries and the youth networks in each country. 35 young people will be hosted at the serene Subodhi institute near Colombo where discussions, reflections and sharing of experiences will create a road map for sustaining a potent South Asian youth network on climate. The conference agenda will soon be available on http://saysocc10.wordpress.com. The list of selected delegates from each country can also be found on the same website.
The Sri Lankan youth climate action network is the main organizer in Colombo and with a host of young people gearing up for the arrival of different delegations from every South Asian country.
