The activities in Hyderabad, from December 14th to the 16th will bring together students and young professionals from across the country for three days of learning and fun. The base camp will bring together students, environmentalists, academicians, politicians and many more for a series of discussions and debates on various issues of environment and climate change.

Some of the events include:
Hot seat: Where Indian negotiators will be on the hot seat facing questions from youth across the country. This will be succeeded by hot seats in different regions where local politicians, policy makers and environmentalists will be invited for a series of interviews and panel discussions.
Communication from COP: The Indian Youth Delegation to the COP will send constant updates from Copenhagen for spontaneous response from youth back home.
Climate leadership workshop: This would include basic training on the science behind Climate change, the negotiations, politics, solutions and the ways we can take action locally and individually. This would be followed by trainings in media, direct action and more.
Paper Presentation: Students and researches will be invited to submit papers on Climate Change and sustainability with respect to a city. The top presentations will be awarded with cash prizes and further opportunity would be given to showcase their work.
Film Screenings: Movies on environment and Climate Change will be screened.
Local issue discussion: The problem of Climate Change is global but requires great local action. Identifying the local issues and planning solutions to tackle them is very crucial.
Stalls: Various other organizations from across the city and state will be invited to put up stalls and showcase their work for the participants.
Cultural activities: Dramas, dance shows, music performances, child artists and many more will be taking place every evening for entertainment that is meaningful and thought provoking.
